How We Got Here
While Wami “officially” started in 2019, our story begins in 2016 at Bond.co where we had the chance to work together building products used to send millions of handwritten notes.
When Bond closed in 2019, we launched Wami to focus on providing high-quality, handwritten notes at scale and explore our firm belief that there are better ways for brands to connect with customers than sending out millions of emails.
What Does Wami Mean?
We’re self-proclaimed tech nerds, and we’ve often pondered the first words a robot would say if/when they became self-aware of their existence.
“Who am I?”
“Where am I?”
“What am I?”
Hence the name Wami was born.
